Practice Manager

Job Title: HEALTHCARE PRACTICE MANAGER
Job Description: Continuously review all factors affecting the cost and the operation of the practice. Take necessary corrective action to keep costs commensurate with the practice objectives or recommend appropriate action to the Board of Directors. Direct the program of benefits for the practice physicians and employees as approved by the Board of Directors. Act as liaison with corporate attorney and CPA. Assist in the orientation of new physicians and staff. Oversee the facility maintenance for the main office and satellite.  Assure all equipments is maintained and in good repair.  Monitor documentation of repairs and maintenance as required by governing agencies. Assist in determining training and developmental programs for support staff and arrange such opportunities. Assist in evaluating job workloads and schedules to ensure equitable distribution, assesses staffing patterns and recommends changes. Perform payroll tasks as directed by the Board of Directors. Monitor fees for specific services and relationships to costs. Establish fee schedules to be approved by the Board of Directors. Monitor the accounts receivables, write-offs, collection accounts, and credit and collection policies. Assume responsibility for the design and modification of all forms, fee tickets, and collateral materials used by the practice. Monitor patient flow policies and procedures to ensure efficient cost effective use of staff and facilities. Monitor EMR system satisfying all state and federal regulations regarding patient confidentiality. Monitor laboratory protocols and policies to ensure compliance with government regulations.
Requirements: ABS in Business or health care related field.  Professional development courses in health care management.  Experience in EMR and Executive level experience in practice management required. Cardiology Practice experience a plus.
Compensation: $10-$15+/hr, salary will vary depending on experience. Direct hire positions pay commissions.
